A tribute is being held for three police officers who died in the Paris terror attacks last week.
French President François Hollande is leading the ceremony in the courtyard of the Prefecture de Police, Paris' police headquarters.
Hollande laid the Legion d'honneur medal on coffins draped in the French flag as the families of the victims looked on.
Meanwhile, the funeral procession of four Jewish victims of the Paris attacks has begun in Jerusalem.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other public figures gathered for the burial of Yohan Cohen, Yoav Hattab, Francois-Michel Saada and Phillipe Braham.
The four were killed in the hostage stand-off on Friday at a kosher supermarket in Paris.
They are among 17 people who were killed in multiple terror attacks carried out last week by Islamic fighters claiming allegiance to al Qaeda and the Islamic State jihadist groups.
Officers killed the hostage-taker, Amedy Coulibaly, who claimed to belong to the Islamic State group.
